Tourmaline

Tourmaline is a multicolored borosilicate mineral widely used as a gemstone, admired for its wide range of hues including black, pink, green, and multicolored varieties. It belongs to the silicate group and typically forms in pegmatites and metamorphic rocks. Spiritual associations are based on the type/color of tourmaline. Chemically, its general formula is (Na,Ca)(Li,Mg,Fe,Al)₃Al₆(BO₃)₃Si₆O₁₈(OH,F)₄, reflecting its complex variations.
