Pyrite

Pyrite is a metallic gold-colored sulfide mineral commonly called “fool’s gold,” widely used as a collector’s specimen and for industrial sulfur extraction. It belongs to the sulfide mineral group and is frequently found in hydrothermal veins, sedimentary deposits, and metamorphic rocks. Spiritually, it is often associated with vitality, protection, and manifesting abundance. Chemically, its formula is FeS₂.
