Opal

Opal is an iridescent mineraloid composed of hydrated silica, known for its play of color that flashes with spectral hues when viewed from different angles. It forms from the deposition of silica-rich solutions in cracks and cavities of rocks, commonly sandstone or basalt. Spiritually, it is often associated with creativity, emotional healing, and transformation. Chemically, its formula is SiO₂·nH₂O.
