Magnetite

Magnetite is a black iron oxide mineral valued for its strong natural magnetism and importance as a major iron ore, easily recognized by its magnetic properties. It belongs to the oxide mineral group and is commonly found in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. Spiritually, it is often associated with grounding and balancing polarities. Chemically, its formula is Fe₃O₄.
