Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli is a deep blue metamorphic rock valued as a gemstone and pigment source, often containing gold flecks of pyrite. It belongs primarily to the silicate mineral group due to its main component, lazurite, and is found in marble deposits. Spiritually, it is often associated with wisdom, truth, and enlightenment. Chemically, lazurite’s formula is (Na,Ca)₈(AlSiO₄)₆(S,SO₄,Cl)₂.
