Labradorite

Labradorite is a gray to dark bluish feldspar mineral famous for its striking iridescent optical effect known as labradorescence, displaying flashes of blue, green, gold, and sometimes violet. It belongs to the plagioclase feldspar group and is commonly found in igneous rocks such as basalt and gabbro, as well as in metamorphic rocks. Spiritually, it is often associated with transformation, intuition, and protection of the aura. Chemically, its formula is (Ca,Na)(Al,Si)₄O₈.
