Halite

Halite is a colorless to white or brightly tinted evaporite mineral commonly known as rock salt, valued for both industrial uses and as a collector’s specimen. It belongs to the halide mineral group and typically forms through the evaporation of saline waters in arid environments. Spiritually, it is often associated with purification, balance, and dissolving negative influences. Chemically, its formula is NaCl.
