Chalcedony

Chalcedony is a microcrystalline form of silica, typically appearing in shades of white, gray, blue, or pastel hues, and is valued for its waxy to vitreous luster. It belongs to the quartz mineral group and is commonly found lining cavities in volcanic rocks and sedimentary formations. Spiritually, blue chalcedony is associated with calm, balance, centeredness, and inner knowledge, while purple chalcedony is associated with psychic abilities, aura cleansing, and purification. Chemically, its formula is SiO₂.
