Barite

Barite is a white, yellow, or blue sulfate mineral widely used in industry as a weighting agent in drilling muds and admired by collectors for its tabular crystals. It belongs to the sulfate mineral group and is commonly found in hydrothermal veins and sedimentary deposits. Spiritually, it is often associated with insight, spiritual grounding, and higher awareness. Chemically, its formula is BaSO₄.
