Agate

Agate is a banded variety of chalcedony quartz, admired for its colorful patterns and widely used as a gemstone and decorative stone. It belongs to the silicate mineral group and is typically found in volcanic cavities and sedimentary rocks. Spiritual associations are contingent on agate subtype, which include blue lace, dendritic, ellensburg, fire, moss, or purple sage. Chemically, its formula is SiO₂.
