Agate is a banded variety of chalcedony quartz, admired for its colorful patterns and widely used as a gemstone and decorative stone. It belongs to the silicate mineral group and is typically found in volcanic cavities and sedimentary rocks. Spiritually, it is often associated with balance, harmony, and grounding. Chemically, its formula is SiO₂.
